Turkish Airlines will launch a new daily service between Istanbul Ataturk and London Heathrow from October 25.
The flights, which will be operated by an A321 aircraft, will bring the total number of return services between the two cities to 37 per week.
Outbound service TK1971 departs Istanbul Ataturk T1 at 1450 and arrives at Heathrow T2 at 1700, while return service TK1972 leaves Heathrow at 1800 and lands in Istanbul at 2350.
Osman Battal, Turkish Airlines' general manager for Heathrow and Gatwick, said: "We are delighted to announce a new addition to our already impressive roster of flights from London Heathrow."
At the end of last month, Turkish moved its operations at Gatwick airport from the North to South Terminal (see news, March 26).
