Norwegian's domestic operation in Norway, Sweden and Denmark is grounded for a third successive day by a pilots' strike.
The airline confirmed that almost 35,000 passengers will again be unable to fly, due to the cancellation of almost all its local services.
However, it confirmed that the following services shoule be running:
- Flights to/from the UK with flight numbers DY2400 to DY2900
- Flights to/from Spain with flight numbers DY5100 to DY5598
- Flights to/from Finland with flight numbers DY5599 to 5999
- Flights to/from US and Thailand with flight numbers DY7001 to DY7999
Some 650 pilots are on strike in a dispute over pay. The industrial action began after talks broke down on Saturday, but those on strike increased from 70 to 650 on Wednesday.
The pilots are striking in order to achieve a collective labour agreement with Norwegian's parent company, instead of its local subsidiaries, and for the same employment terms to be put in place across Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Norwegian said passengers affected by cancellations can call its customer service centre at +47 21 49 21 49.
Earlier this week, the carrier announced it will add a third weekly service between London Gatwick and Los Angeles next winter (see news, March 2).
