The Kameha Grand Zurich, part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, opens on March 1.
Set in the 128,000 sqm Glattpark, five kilometres from Zurich airport, the 245-property features "neo-baroque" interiors by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
It also has Italian and Japanese restaurants, a bar and cigar and shisha lounges, a spa with rooftop terrace, a gym and meeting space. The Glattpark's lake and lawn offer swimming, sports and outdoor activities.
It is a sister hotel to the Kameha Grand Bonn.
John Licence, brand leader for Autograph Collection in Europe, said: "Our portfolio is growing rapidly in Europe, and Kameha Grand Zurich is one of the first brand new properties we are announcing as part of the collection."
Marriott will open the Autograph Collection's fourth property in Spain, Hotel Cotton House Barcelona, later this month (see news, December 31).
