SIA Krisflyer partners with Club Vistara

5 Feb 2015 by GrahamSmith

Singapore Airlines' Krisflyer loyalty programme has partnered with Vistara's Club Vistara.

The move enables members of both frequent flyer schemes to earn and redeem points when travelling on flights operated by the other airline.

Accrual and redemption opportunities are also possible for flights with SIA's regional carrier, Silk Air.

Benefits afforded by Club Vistara tiers

The partnership, which is Vistara's first with another airline is set to commence in March with the ability to accrual miles and points. Redemption will be made available in May.

Vistara CEO Phee Teik Yeoh said: "We are pleased to enter into this strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines' Krisflyer programme, which widens the choices and benefits for Club Vistara members.

"We are confident that through SIA and their sister airline Silk Air's well-connected network from India, we will be able to broaden our reach and strengthen the value proposition for Club Vistara members."

Last week, it was announced that Krisflyer members will soon be able to use their miles to earn and redeem points when flying with Scoot and Tigerair (see news, January 27).
