New airline Vistara will almost double its flight frequencies next month.
The carrier, headquartered in Delhi and a joint venture between Indian conglomerate Tata and Singapore Airlines, launched earlier this month.
From February 16, it will increase its Delhi to Ahmedabad services from six to 13 weekly; its Delhi to Mumbai services will increase from three daily (four on Sundays) to five daily; and its Mumbai to Ahmedabad services will rise from seven to 13 weekly.
All flights will continue to be served by A320 aircraft, reports airlineroute.net.
Vistara's launch was delayed last year while regulatory approval was sought - the ariline was originally supposed to take to the skies in October (see news, September 12).
