IHG opens Crowne Plaza hotel in Battersea

Intercontinental Hotels Group has opened a Crowne Plaza property in Battersea.

The rebranded Crowne Plaza London - Battersea was formerly Hotel Verta and is now owned by Fabiano Hotels and managed by IHG.

The 78-room hotel is located near Clapham Junction and is adjacent to the London Heliport.

It features free wifi, 200 sqm of meeting space, a terrace bar, restaurant, and a spa and gym.

Hotel Verta was originally scheduled to open in autumn 2009, before finally opening its doors in September 2010. To read a review of the property when it was Hotel Verta, click here.

IHG is scheduled to open Crowne Plaza London - Albert Embankment, which will have in excess of 130 rooms and a restaurant overlooking the River Thames, in the first half of 2016 (see news, September 2013). To read a review of Crowne Plaza London - The City, click here.
