Etihad Airways is introducing new inflight products and improvements to its long-haul first, business and economy cabins.
The Gulf carrier is planning to implement the upgrades across its entire fleet.
Inspired by hotel hospitality, the first class service includes a personalised welcome letter from the cabin service manager, along with a silver-tray reception service starting with a welcome drink, hot towel and Arabic dates.

First class also features a new menu design, an enhanced selection of canapes, a pre-dessert course, a Café Gourmand coffee and tea course, new throws and cushions that "reflect the colour palette of the new interiors being introduced on the A380 and B787-9".
A statement said: "First class turn-down service will be accompanied by a 'Sweet Dreams' card, all-natural bed linen, pillow mist and pulse point oil. In business class, a new turndown service is offered on ultra long-haul flights, featuring a mattress, cotton loungewear and slippers. A plush comforter and full size pillow are now provided."
Also in business, the "Dine Anytime" option will remain, but Etihad is extending this by introducing an "All Day" menu for longer flights.
