Virgin Atlantic will add a second daily London Heathrow to Atlanta service next summer.
The carrier currently operates flights VS103/104 between the two cities, an A330 service it began in October as part of its joint schedule with Delta (see news, May 21).
From March 29, the carrier will add a second daily frequency, reports airlineroute.net.
Outbound flight VS115 will depart Heathrow at 1135 and land in Atlanta at 1600 local time, with return flight VS116 taking-off from Atlanta at 2030 and arriving back in London at 0950 the next day.
Virgin last month postponed the launch of its B787-9 services from London Heathrow to Washington Dulles and New York Newark (see news, November 19).
