Supercity Aparthotels will open properties in central London and Watford, it has been announced.
The serviced apartment provider has applied for planning permission to convert the former site of the Jewish Chronicle newspaper in Chancery Lane.
If approved, the redevelopment will result in a 50-suite property with a gym and serviced offices, as well as an existing pub on the site.
Supercity is due to open the Chancery Lane aparthotel in 2016. It currently operates three properties in London - to read a review of The Rosebery in nearby Clerkenwell, click here.
The second property in Watford will offer extended-stay serviced apartments and is due to open next autumn. It will feature 19 studios and 22 one-bedroom suites.
Alexis Burton, Supercity's managing director, said: "These new acquisitions are testament to the success and hard work of the Supercity Aparthotels team.
"With growing understanding and demand for aparthotels amongst business travellers and tourists alike, we're delighted to be growing and complimenting our existing portfolio in and around London."
