TAM Airlines is rolling-out a Premium Business class on its flights to South American and the Caribbean from Europe and the US.
Changes include Premium Business class seats that are 15 per cent larger than current seats aboard TAM's B777 fleet.
Outfitting the aircraft with the new seats started this month and will be completed by mid-2015.
The move unifies the carrier with its LATAM Airlines Group partner LAN Airlines, which already has Premium Business seating.
TAM's Premium Business will also see menu changes, featuring the best of Latin American cuisine with a touch of the regional flavors and foods representative of each country where LATAM operates.
Jerome Cadier, vice-president of marketing at LATAM Airlines Group said: "The launch of Premium Business and the harmonisation of our inflight service draws the best from TAM and LAN in terms of both menu and customer service, and the result is a world-class product combined with the excellence and comfort that our business class customers expect."
Earlier this year, LAN and TAM revealed their new unified cabin design (see news, April 4).
