Renaissance Hotels is on track to open nine hotels this year, it has been announced.
The brand, which falls under the Marriott umbrella, has already opened six properties in 2014.
These are Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel; Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St Cloud Hote; Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center; Renaissance Santiago Hotel; Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel; and Renaissance Chengdu Hotel.
The Santiago and south of France hotels mark the first time Renaissance has opened a property in both regions.
Hotels in Minsk, Cincinnati and Beijing are due to open by the end of the year.
The design, style and decor of each hotel "will be inspired by the unique locale".
Toni Stoeckl, Renaissance Hotels' vice president and global brand manager, said: "This is an exciting time for Renaissance Hotels as we open spectacular new locations in some world's most desirable business and cultural centers including Santiago and Paris.
"We are thrilled to be on scheduled to introduce nine new hotels in 2014."
Renaissance Hotels currently has 157 properties in 35 countries around the world.
