Kenya Airways has launched its first commercial Boeing 787 service on its Nairobi to Paris route.
The Dreamliner replaces a B767 on the route, which is operated as a codeshare with fellow Sky Team alliance member Air France.
The four-times weekly Dreamliner service departs Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 2245, arriving at Paris Charles De Gaulle at 0620 the following morning.
The B787 will take-off from Paris on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1055 and arrive in Nairobi at 2025 local time.
Kenya Airways' B787 comes in a two-class configuration with a 2-2-2 layout in business and 3-3-3 in economy.
The African carrier last year signed a "strategic partnership" with Etihad, which included a codeshare agreement (see news, February 2013).
