Hilton Worldwide has opened the first Doubletree hotel in Dubai.
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Residences Dubai - Al Barsha, which is the brand's second property to open in the UAE this year, caters for both short and long-term stays.
It contains 359 rooms — 181 standard rooms, 13 suites, 41 studios and 124 one and two-bedroom apartments.
The hotel also features three dining options, free wifi for Hilton HHonors Diamond and Gold members, free wifi for all in the public areas, three meeting rooms (two with flexible sizes), complimentary shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai public beaches, a 24-hour business and fitness centre and a sauna, steam room and outdoor pool.
John Greenleaf, Doubletree by Hilton's global head, said: "Doubletree by Hilton is proud to present our fourth opening in the Arabian Peninsula region.
"In addition to the existing Doubletree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah, the recent openings on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Dubai opening will secure our Middle East presence and build awareness about our brand and service culture."
In March, Hilton opened a Doubletree hotel in Edinburgh, its first property in Scotland (see news, March 18).
