Jurys Inn will offer free wifi to all its guests in its 25 UK hotels, it has been announced.
The move comes as part of a £1.7 million investment in new software and technology upgrades.
Guests booking directly on the hotel group's website will also receive free premium wifi for heavier internet use such as streaming films, gaming and large file downloading. Those who don't book directly online can buy premium wifi for £3 per hour, £5 for 24 hours or £8 for 48 hours use.
Shane Doyle, Jurys Inn group's IT manager, said: "In this day and age, we understand just how important it is for our guests, not only to be offered free wifi but to be able to easily access their emails or surf the web wherever they are.
"We are constantly looking at ways of improving our guests' experience and we're sure they will be delighted that they can now enjoy the benefits of a quick, high quality, free wifi at all our UK hotels."
