Korean Air will add a second daily A380 service onto its Incheon to New York JFK route from May.
The airline currently operates a twice-daily superjumbo service to Los Angeles and a daily A380 flight to New York.
The addition of a second A380 service to JFK on May 25 will make make Korean the only airline to operate two daily superjumbo services from Asia to both US coasts.
John Jackson, the carrier's vice-president of sales and marketing for the Americas, said: "We have the most competitive service for the US business traveller to south-east Asia and Korea.
"When you combine our A380's comforts with our schedule and service, we offer a strong value proposition and travellers are responding very well."
Korean Air's A380-800 has 407 seats in a three-class configuration — 12 first class and 301 economy seats on the lower deck, and 94 Prestige (business) seats on the upper deck. To see a seatplan, click here.
Last month, the airline announced the introduction of a non-stop flight from Incheon to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport four times a week from May.
