Marriott International has opened North America's tallest hotel in New York.
The 68-storey property is actually two hotels in one, containing both a Residence Inn and a Courtyard.
Located at 1717 Broadway, Residence Inn Central Park occupies floors 37 to 65, while Courtyard by Marriott Central Park is housed on floors six to 33.
The Residence Inn extended stay hotel has 261 suites, some of which offer floor-to-ceiling views of the Hudson River, Central Park and Times Square.
Each suite is available for a period of not less than five nights and includes a kitchenette with coffee-maker, microwave and custom appliances. Complimentary breakfast, grocery delivery and dry cleaning services are also available, as is a laundry room.
The Courtyard hotel has 378 rooms and a touchscreen concierge for access to flight information, event times and walking directions.
It also features The Bistro, where guests can pick-up food including snacks and drink local beer, wine or cocktails.

Both hotels offer free wifi, valet parking, and share 560 sqm of meeting space and a fitness centre on the 35th floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor sundeck.
Janis Milham, Marriott's senior vice president of modern essentials and extended stay, said: "This opening is a prime example of an ideal dual-branded hotel... and will surely be both brands' crown jewel."
Last month, it was announced that Marriott will open its third hotel in Washington, DC in May (see news, December 11).
