Twin-aisle aircaft "to drive Middle East airline growth" - Boeing

Twin-aisle aircraft will account for 50% of the region’s new airplane deliveries during the next 20 years, according to Boeing's Current Market Outlook report.
Single-aisle jets won't be far behind though, believes Boeing, which are likely to account for 47% of deliveries.
It predicts strong demand for models such as B777s and B787s, but not large models such as the B747s, projected to account for 7% of demand.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Vice President of Marketing Randy Tinseth said: "Middle East carriers have consistently led the rest of the world in traffic growth over the past two years and there is every indication that this trend will continue in the foreseeable future."
The company predicts Middle Eastern air travel will continue to grow by an average of 7.1% per year over the next 20 years, outpacing the region’s projected economic growth rate of 4% over the same period.
