The first Nobu Hotel in the Middle East has been earmarked for Abu Dhabi.
Reem Investments has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Nobu Hospitality to operate and manage a Nobu Hotel at Najmat on Reem Island in the UAE capital.
The development will occupy a prime position on Najmat Marina and canal.
Guests will have exclusive access to a variety of destination dining and entertainment facilities in addition to the Nobu Restaurant, as well as a private beach.
The waterfront hotel will feature a new addition to the chain of Nobu restaurants, which are as renowned for their celebrity clientele as much as their dishes.
On site will be restaurants and bars, spa, gym, private cabanas, retail outlets and full beachfront service.
Bambang Sugeng Bin Kajairi, CEO of Reem Investments, said it looked forward to establishing a close working partnership with Nobu Hospitality to create “a new focal point” for luxury lifestyle and hospitality in Abu Dhabi.
The completion of the transaction is subject to a number of conditions, including the the finalisation of capital financing.
Nobu Hospitality recently signed a non-binding letter of intent to develop a 180-room rebranded hotel within Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, according to reports.
