LOT Polish Airlines will temporarily suspend its routes between Warsaw and Cairo, Beirut and Damascus, citing lower demand and “the unstable social-political situations in the region”.
Flights to Cairo will stop between May 2 and June 30, while those to Beurit will not run between May 7 and June 23, and the route between Warsaw and Damascus will be suspended from May 12 to June 20.
LOT said that air traffic “has been particularly disrupted at the airport in Cairo, where limitations on air operations during night time hours has made it impossible to carry out flights to the Egyptian capital according to schedule”.
