The opening of Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait has been put back to early 2012.
In October 2008, the Dubai-based operator said it planned to open the beachfront property in 2010.
The resort, which contains 395 rooms and suites, including 80 serviced apartments and 12 chalets, has direct access to a 200-metre private beach and will feature extensive conference and banqueting as well as spa facilities, a pool, a children's play area and six restaurants and lounges. In separate news, the much-awaited Voi Vietnamese restaurant at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray (pictured) is due to open on September 22, and Jumeirah Emirates Towers will soon open Alfie's in The Boulevard.
