Hotel Missoni Doha aims to open in central Doha in 2015.
The upmarket lifestyle hotel will be located along the city's C Ring Road, around 10 minutes from the airport.
It will be designed by Rosita Missoni and feature approximately 200 rooms and 70 one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments.
Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor, said Qatar benefits from healthy economic conditions and its people are receptive towards a new kind of luxury and lifestyle.
"Our Hotel Missoni flagship will be a perfect addition to Doha's rising market," he said.
F&B outlets will comprise a signature Italian restaurant, Cucina, a second all-day-dining restaurant, a number of fine dining restaurants, Bar Missoni, a pool bar and lobby lounge.
Approximately 1,500sqm will be set aside for conference facilities and guests will be able to access an 800sqm spa and fitness area, containing an outdoor pool. The agreement was signed with Al Jassim Group.
It will be the second Missoni property in the region after Kuwait (click here for 'tried & tested' review). Hotel Missoni Edinburgh opened in 2009.
Further properties are under development in Oman, Turkey, Brazil and Mauritius.
