Hilton has announced a fourth hotel in Riyadh, the 210-key Hilton Riyadh King Fahd Road, which is scheduled to open in 2014.

It follows the Hilton Riyadh King Saud University, Hilton Riyadh King Saud University Residence and the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residence, all scheduled to open by 2013.

Construction has started on the new-build hotel, which will be next door to the Kingdom Tower in the city's commercial heartland, and not far from the Diplomatic Quarter and King Khaled International Airport.

Amenities willi include a specialty restaurant, all-day dining outlet as well as a pool and lobby lounges. Other facilities include a business centre, health club and spa and executive lounge.

Catering to Riyadh's events and meetings market, seven meeting rooms, two boardrooms and one ballroom are also planned. Hilton Worldwide has six hotels operating in Saudi Arabia and 14 now in the pipeline.

Meanwhile, Hilton HHonors has rolled out its More Points global promotion. Until March 31, HHonors members can register to earn 1,000 Bonus Points per night plus an additional 5,000 Bonus Points for every two-night weekend stay at participating Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations.
