Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways have cancelled Heathrow services today ahead of expected adverse weather conditions in London.
The cancelled Emirates services are EK29 and EK05 – scheduled to depart Dubai at 0940 and 1630 respectively – and the return flights EK30 and EK06, due to depart London Heathrow at 1635 and 2200.
Passengers due to travel to or from Heathrow are advised to check the status of their flight using the flight status tool on the airline's website, before departing for the airport, which is updated every five minutes.
Etihad's EY11 flight from Abu Dhabi to London, due to depart 0240, and the return flight EY12 (0915) from London to Abu Dhabi will not operate.
The airline said passengers are being advised of alternative flights and, where necessary, overnight accommodation will be provided in Abu Dhabi.
Qatar Airways has cancelled flight QR001 from Doha to London Heathrow and the return flight, QR002, today. Similarly, the airline said it is arranging to accommodate passengers on alternative flights.
