Gulf Air plans to upgrade the IFE on its A330s in the fourth quarter and continuing into 2012.
New high-density file servers are being installed, providing up to 40 hours of video and entertainment content, including 'early window' movies not yet available for general distribution.
Mohammed El Assaad, Senior Manager, IFE & Communications at Gulf Air, said: "The new Goodrich video reproducer units will greatly enhance our customers' experience with unique features like early window entertainment, with minimum cost and aircraft downtime for our A330 fleet."
