Gulf Air has expanded its codeshare partnership with American Airlines by adding 22 US cities.
They are Birmingham, Huntsville, Pascagoula, Montgomery, Colorado Springs, Little Rock, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport, Jackson, Biloxi, Oklahoma City, Waco, Amarillo, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Killeen, Laredo, Lubbock, McAllen, Midland and Norfolk.
"The expansion marks an important milestone in our growing relationship with our long-term partner American Airlines," says Karim Makhlouf, Gulf Air Chief Commercial Officer.
Gulf Air hopes the additional feeder cities will help drive more traffic through some of its key European gateways, where it operates double-daily flights between London and Bahrain, alongside daily flights to Paris and Frankfurt and six weekly flights to Milan.
The airline's FFP members are eligible to earn and spend their miles on American Airlines when they book with Gulf Air.
