Gulf Air adding capacity to Chennai, Dhaka and Kathmandu

Gulf Air is raising Chennai flights from seven to nine weekly, Dhaka to 11 flights a week and Kathmandu services to double daily this winter.
From October 30, Delhi’s schedule will be standardised with a double daily schedule departing Bahrain at 1430 and 2240 respectively, with arrivals back into Bahrain at 0735 and 2355, providing greater convenience for connecting European passengers.
Similarly daily flights between Mumbai and Bahrain have been modified to depart at 1845 to arrive in Bahrain at 2010, offering business travellers better connectivity to Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Khartoum, GCC and European destinations.
Gulf Air Chief Commercial Officer Mr Karim Makhlouf said the Indian sub-continent has seen load factors reaching as much as 85% in the past few months.
Kathmandu services will be served by an A320, although a larger A330 will be deployed during the peak December and January months.
Dhaka will see five flights a week departing Bahrain 1130 and six flights per week departing Bahrain at 2015.
