Had anyone tried The Peninsula Tokyo? It has a separate and very spacious closet and powdering room (also equipped with a nail polish air drying for the ladies). In the opposite side is a very spacious bathroom - toilet seats and bathroom floors...

Most important for the ladies are a good hairdrying - not the one that stuck to the wall.
Peninsula Tokyo even has a nail dryer but useless when we didn't know about it and didn't bring our nail polish to 'play' with it.

unfortunately even CX lounge in HK is quite full sometime since there are so many Asiamiles/Marco Polo member already....with other OneWorld members, they would need to expand even more.

Lost & Delayed luggage

Our luggages are always delay or broken returning to HK from Italy, so I have claimed many times - from airline and travel insurance, if my luggage is broken and could not be fixed, they will give us a brand new luggage. We have luggages delayed...

You are so true about the importance of having a direct connection and 24 hour coffee shop! My colleague was in Narita, arriving at 11pm from US and there is no food to be served, not even room service!!!
