After Diamond Club - Which Star Alliance FF programme should I join?

Who do you fly with the most often?
For example, I fly Lufthansa & SAS most often following the 'direction change' by BMI.
For me, travelling in economy, SAS gave the opportunity to retain Gold by flying 40 segments in any class - I can do that.
