We brought my (elderly) mother to New York a few months after 9/11. Security was still very high, and on returning through JFK, we were prepared for the additional security measures. I, my wife and son whizzed through security.

thanks for clarifying the BA withdrawal. BMI certainly did have an enhanced service on DUB-LHR but their current economy flexible is a poor relation.

I flew Dub-LHR-Dub with BMI last week.
Like KeaneJohn, I feel for the BMI staff. However, to their credit, the cabin crew on both flights were exemplary. I just hope that the eventual owners of BMI appreciate this asset.
