I feel that business travellers will not take UK train travel at weekends seriously until we operate a "seven day" railway as do the operators in mainland Europe.

I guess in compensation, passengers travelling first class pay very little for their tickets when travelling on Saturday or Sunday.
Canny passengers simply buy the cheapest saver return (no time of travel restrictions at weekends) and pay a...
