Hello Rich - the SIA non-stop to New York still exists. But it operates x 5 a week and arrives into EWR. Maybe you couldn't locate the non-stop service as perhaps you selected "JFK" as the New York arrival airport.

Hello Vertrek - there seems to be a misunderstanding. There are both non-stop flights and there are direct flights. KLM operates AMS-TPE non-stop but its AMS-TPE-MNL flight is classifed as direct because pax remain with the same plane...

What everyone is forgetting is that while there are no non-stops between Europe and Manila there are still direct services with KLM.
With the increasing cost of fuel and the low yields on the Manila route I cannot see any European airline...
