FORT LAUDERDALE would be brilliant alternative to Miami so long as the timing of the flights are nowhere close to the mass of Caribbean flights that transit through Ft. Lauderdale. I've seen lines for immigration back as far as the aircraft...

Just returned from months holiday and brought along my iPad as you had, along with other passengers on my flights.
Glad i had done this for although i travelled in First on Lufthansa, Thai & AA and enjoyed watching films on their AVOD systems...

Best airport lounges in the world?

How about "special recognitions" for those individual lounges that may not be the BIGGEST or MOST LUXURIOUS, but offer something truly SPECIAL or UNIQUE?
*Top of my list is EVA AIR'S "The Garden" lounge at Taoyuan, Taipei airport.
