Cardiff - Heathrow on BA ?
21/05/12 | Forum post in reply to skyguy79

The one thing about Cardiff is that it is Heathrow side, so there is even less plane advantage: You can get to Heathrow (to make a flight) within 2 hours, with an hourly service. I'd have thought you'd need at least that from cardiff to make a...

No more First on LH?
25/04/12 | Forum post in reply to Swissdiver

Just shows its all about taste. I flew LH First for 1st time this month, to Singapore via Munich and I have to agree it wasn't anything special. They have the same problem as most carriers of inconsistent crew (o/b was grumpy and unhelpful,...

BA's Haneda route
06/03/12 | Forum post in reply to NewBAexec

Im not sure this is being framed properly - its not about 'cost cutting'. The fact is this route was launched with the benefit of the Mixed Fleet cost base. Without mixed fleet there would be no route.

Best G&T location

14/12/11 | Forum post in reply to Ardmarnoch

Herr Troken: "It really depends on your experience of the wider world but it seems that the people who travel widely do not rate BA F well." I must be the exception that proves your rule. As a LH senator card I have experienced what you...

14/12/11 | Forum post in reply to Ardmarnoch

I was in new BA F on a 777-300 this week for the first time, my previous 3 experiences were in 747s. Unlike in J i prefer the 777 cabin to the 747. There seemed much more space at the window. More so than a new LX F window seat which up to know...

AMEX Platinum Charge Card change conditions
13/12/11 | Forum post in reply to InterestedObserver

Thats a shocker. The main benefit for me was the no quibble insurance. Can you pay on ANY amex card? if so i'm covered, and will carry on with it (50% is on my corporate AMEX, 50% on BA Amex) If it needs to be on the platinum card only,...

Club World vs Club World London City
22/11/11 | Forum post in reply to Bullfrog

Re: Senator's point on IFE - the original units are now IPADs - and very good they are too! I actually liked the pre-land snack - not as heavy as mainline CW (Goats cheese and pea shoot salad with some tasty hot savouries - ie no cake and scones!)

16/08/11 | Forum post in reply to rchoonfl

Of course, if you are going to change somewhere, then by all means you can choose on the elements of service that particularly push your button. Rchoonfl - im interested what makes you feel hard done by. The usual anti-BA bandwagon fuel -...
