BA to Leeds Bradford
17/05/12 | Forum post in reply to TominScotland

If BA is truly a World class airline then surely any feeder flight is regional. Why do the parochial Brits have to think only of UK airports? I guess that answers why so many posters on these Fora are so anti the BA Gold Card “Cheats”. The...

Amex Platinum
26/04/12 | Forum post in reply to DanielRawson

I have the Platinum Euro card and the insurance, plus Priority Pass, justify the fee. I recently used the AE Platinum deal to obtain HHonors Gold, then used that to get status match from Marriott, Starwood, IC Priority Club and Radisson. Good...

RJ, any comments?
20/04/12 | Forum post in reply to stevescoots

Hi SwissExPat. Yes, you do. J Class gets you a toatl of 480 status points for a round trip being 120 EU to AMM then 120 AMM to HK and likewise on the return, or at least it did last Autumn. A useful way to top up status points, but the onboard...

05/01/12 | Forum post in reply to Swissdiver

An interesting thread. I remember watching a Discovery chanel type programme which attempted to simulate interference from a mobile phone with an aircraft's instrumentation. They concluded that it was unlikely, but not impossible. I also...

03/12/10 | Forum post in reply to travelwell

I had a similar situation 18 months ago. I suggest that you make a new application, for a "first passport" and send a covering letter explaining that your current passport is almost full, but has a valid China, or other, visa with a year left....

How long for a BA Refund ?
14/07/10 | Forum post in reply to Travellator

Mr Binabdulaziz, VK makes a very valid point. An anniversary is annual. Yesterday was my birthday, or anniversaire as the French say. As a result of it being annual I celebrated my 57th anniversary, rather than my 231st on a 3 month...

How long for a BA Refund ?
24/06/10 | Forum post in reply to Travellator

Fascinating to look at this thread. I was cancelled by BA; bmiBaby; Ryanair and Monarch during the "Ash crisis". Ryanair were quickest at first, then decided they wouldn't refund anyone, then realised the error of thier ways and reminded me,...

Cathay Pacific new business class

I guess the nom de plume Binman is because he has "bin" here; "bin" there, "bin" everywhere. Not sure if Binman has the T-shirt
