For future reference having lived in HKG for many years every year from mid Oct thru to the first week in December there are always many conferences, exhibitions and commercial business in general all trying to wrap up deals before Xmas.

If you go to the CX website and key in your dates/ destination etc the new business class is on aircrfaft designated '77D'

What really makes BA looks stupid is not so much the new policy, that is a huge risk in itself, but the PR release i.e.. "BA is introducing a new service so passengers can take control of their seat selection options". They would have got more...
