LH business class is on the lower deck front section. First cabin is spacious and always loads of empty seats. Snack meal is not up to the standard of Thai. But it's a cheap fare for the route.

On Thai there is no guarantee! Their 777 has a far better layout than the 747. Even with the new seating on the 747, our seats were broken and the service bad, SQ will not allow you seats on the A380 or the 777-300 on the LHR-SIN-SYD. I would try...

Are saying that there was time to transfer one bag and not the other? Both bags were checked in on time and there was ample time in AMS! It was the first flight from LHR!
