Singapore Airlines is already operating one out of three daily flights between Singapore and London Heathrow using an Airbus A380 Super Jumbo.

From 16th July on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays flight SQ318 from Singapore to London, departing 12:45 arriving 19:10 local time, will also operate with an A380. The other days of the week will continue to operate with a Boeing 747 aircraft.

On the same days of the week, the return SQ321 Heathrow to Singapore, departing 22:05 arriving the next day 17:55, will also operate with an A380.

Although at the end of July until 9th August these services will temporarily switch back to a Boeing 747 aircraft, to allow the A380 to be used on the Singapore to Beijing route in the run up to the Olympic Games.

This is good news for Far East bound business travellers. Providing additional business class and economy capacity on this popular route, with onward connections throughout Asia and Australasia.
