Flight on Saudi Airlines new B787-900 being used for crew training on the short 45 minute flight from Riyadh to Dammam.
It was the usual cream leather style seats, in the similar pattern to that used by Qatar on its 787, but with overhead bins in the middle section which made it feel rather cramped, as did the seating, not sure why but it felt much less spacious than QR. Amazing how quickly a new aircraft gets soiled, and the light colours don't hide any scuffs etc.
The crew seemed to like the aircraft and it will be used on the KSA-Manchester service shortly.

The seat has a slight side by the head which QR don’t have and the three point seat belt is a bit OTT.

Agree with the lack of space feel in comparison to QR.
