This was a flight from Cairo to Jeddah, in business class.

Boarding was the usual chaotice Cairo experience, but the flight was lightly loaded and therefore not a big deal.

The business section of the 747-400 was in the nose area and the seats were more like premium economy offerings, with limited recline, pitch and felt quite rickety.

The crew were friendly and professional, serving dates and arabic coffee before departure.

After take off, I had a tasy meal of chicken, washed down with fresh orange juice.

Due to a tail wind and the mighty 747s mile eating capability, we arrived in Jeddah 1 hour and 15 minutes after take off.

We deplaned into one of the famous ‘business class’ busses that feature large blue leather armchairs and cleared immigration with about a 30 minute wait.

All in all, an efficient flight, but not special in anyway.
