LP, I also had a similar treat a few years back at ZRH flying Swiss to JNB. Even though I was only flying business, I was met at the Senator check-in counter and told I had been selected for star treatment. I was personally escorted through the airport to the First lounge, personally escorted through security under the lounge and driven on my own in a car to the steps of the plane. Hence my original question at the start of this thread regarding whether they still did that for geuine First passengers. I presume that was Swiss’ equivalent to the BA 1-leg upgrade to First in order that you see what you’re missing and entice you to do it more often of your own accord.
