Dear Business Traveller readers,

I am writing a feature for the magazine on the pros and cons of using Airbnb for business travel. The company is heavily targeting corporate travellers now, since partnering with Concur, American Express GBT, CWT and BCD Travel. And it also has a specific portal for business travel

What have your experiences of Airbnb been? If you haven’t used it, would you consider trying it? What would be the biggest motivators/inhibitors to using the platform?

I use Airbnb for business trips. I mix it up with hotels in order to get some variety, with some trips using hotels and other trips using Airbnb. Sometimes Airbnb represents a better value, other times it’s more convenient. I’ve been pleased with Airbnb about 95% of the time. occasionally the listing was simply misleading and once the host was plain nuts (and not in a good way).
