Interesting thread on FT highlighting that the following message now appears on confirmation emails:

“If you do not check your bags through to your final destination you may incure [sic] additional charges”

Shame about the spelling mistake but I wonder if some form of effort is being lined up on hidden city flights. For any ex EU trips I would be ensuring the final leg is from another London airport so that ‘in case of illness’ I can recover my bag….
