Hardly the ‘Brussels Bonanza’ of last year, but Etihad have cleverly (a la Lufthansa at Easter) loaded some very competitive fares to target the leisure passenger and bookable only over this UK Bank Holiday weekend:

    London Abu Dhabi GBP 999

    London Bangkok GBP 1299

    London Melbourne GBP 2399

    London Sydney GBP 2399

    Manchester Abu Dhabi GBP 1000

    Manchester Bangkok GBP 1300

    Manchester Melbourne GBP 2398

    Manchester Sydney GBP 2398

Hopefully, some BT readers are awake and logged on and can benefit! Book by 31/8 for travel commencing until 30/9.

Edited to say that, in practice, some of the actual fares loaded are a little lower than these and, if you prefer to use a debit card, Netflights might save you a few more pounds as they are offering the fares too, but not bundling card fees as Etihad do:

Excellent value on such a great carrier, especially the Australia deals. Their premium cabins are excellent, good lounges & chauffeur services each side, dropped by many other Airlines.

Unsure as to how the Tie up with VAustralia / VirginBlue & the Velocity program works, in relation to being a VS Gold member.
If the Virgin Group are now global & programs merged, then would the VS membership, earn & offer the benefits with Etihad?

Difficult to see this clarified anywhere?
