HueyJudy, thanks for the offer!, i know the region well having been travelling to Silicon Valley many times and choosing to stay in the bay area over the weekends. Heading north and then flying down and over was on my original idea but then we decided that as neither of us had done LA we had to do it at least once, even if it was to just tick it off the list 🙂 that said if she enjoys the Bay area will look to go up not down next time!
