Worth taking a look a Boeing’s new 747-8 microsite, where they have some excellent mock-up photos of what the interior will be like, and outline the many innovations of this aircraft:

I think Lufty is the launch customer (after the exec jet version has left the building!) and currently the 747-8 will only be in BA colours as part of its cargo operation from Stansted.

    Thanks VK

Be interesting to see if interest in the 747-8i (intercontinental) picks up once Lufthansa starts operating it (rumoured to have fully lie-flat business class finally). Besides one executive purchase, the only other customer so far is Korean. Many have speculated on other possibilities, such as Cathay, some Chinese or Indian carriers, or other remaining 747 operators that have not ordered the A380. However, it would appear the main 747 replacements airlines are taking on are the A380, 777-300ER and eventually the A350 at the moment.

There have been plenty of 747-8F sales, but these are not exactly relevant to business travellers.
