Just checked in for my first hand baggage only domestic flight for which no prior seat allocation was made (I am BAEC Gold). I’ve been allocated 9C (aisle) on an Embraer 190 which is fine as I did expect somewhere nearer the back. I was offered choice at £7 but no point for a one hour flight.
Bought another domestic £17 plus Avios fare yesterday and got seat selection….one third of the handbag fare! As they say in Yorkshire “wierd the workings of t’wheelbarrer”!!
