A heavy day of meetings or a late night of entertaining clients can disorient any business traveller. This treatment is designed to align the body’s five elements into a balanced state (Tatvasamyam means balancing five elements of nature — air, fire, water, earth and space) to help improve focus, and eliminate lethargy. The treatment is divided into six steps, which begins with yoga. Hindus believe in the third eye, which is located on the forehead. The next part of this treatment targets the Ajna chakra (third eye) by placing a gauze soaked in Indian herbs on this part. Abhyanga follows, which is a synchronised massage that is performed by two therapists. This massage helps release stress and relieves fatigue. A skin exfoliation, herbal steam and an application of herbal powder on the crown of the head ends the treatment.
