Stamford777ParticipantIt was a pretty brutal night although not as bad as expected. While I feel sorry for the pax, they were the victim of an unfortunate confluence of circumstances but somehow the Daily Mail needs to finger point by giving this story prominence. For proper context they could have pointed out that 25,000 households in Massachusetts have no power so no heat, light etc. Some of those folks would have willingly traded places with the JFK pax.

kt0rlandoParticipantLucky they weren’t on a domestic US airline or they’d have got nowt! Weather delay in the US also extends to crew or hardware stranded which is stretching it somewhat IMO three or four days later.
To be fair though, the one thing that really frustrates me personally is when a flight delay ultimately turns into a cancellation because of “crew hours”! Whatever the delay cause that is totally predictable and should never be cut close enough to be THE cause of a cancellation!
