    I have a Swiss M&M mastercard (Gold) and have what I thought to be a pretty good idea of the benefits (it is part of a 2 card package with a Platinum AMEX) costing CHF 500 per annum.

    However, I got a surprise recently when travelling with Swiss through Dublin T1. I was in business on LX but when chatting with the security chap at the Fast Track in T1, I noticed that there was a schedule with quite a few credit cards listed which conferred fast track access. My M&M gold mastercard was on the list.

    Last week I was on the LX flight in Y and used the fact track in DUB T1 with my M&M card and this was accepted without a problem.

    M&M have absolutely zero info on this and have not advertised it as a benefit and I assume other card holders would be ignorant of the ability to use it like I did.

    Begs the question, are there more such facilities out there where it can be used?

    Sorry I missed this SwissExPat and have just come across it now.

    Two other benefits I’m aware of are checking in at the First class counter or terminal in ZHR or FRA (though it does not give you lounge access) and a free upgrade to First on the Heathrow Express.

    SIXT will also give you their top tier card for car rentals and in the back of mind there is something with Hertz as well.

    Talking of Hertz, did you know for Swiss residents for CHF 20 you can get a card, valid 1 year, giving 30% off all car rentals in Switzerland. This is well worth having and I’ve saved considerable amounts with it.

    And don’t forget you also get a CHF 300 voucher redeemable against any Swiss flight over CHF 999

    Interesting. But as Fast Track is turning out to be a con, that is hardly an advantage. Certainly at UK airports anybody can use the facility. There is no filtering. It is purely the signage that suggests that the facility can only be used by premiums. Whereas in fact anybody can use it. Probably the same worldwide!

    Not so in Milan or Zurich. If you don’t have the right boarding pass the gate will not open and you’re sent to the other line. Can’t comment on other airports though.

    Hi LP

    Very good, but they are proper airports! 🙂

    @LP…

    I could not find out about the Heathrow Express upgrade…. All I could find out online was that this 1st upgrade was available to Star Alliance Gold card holders (nothing about Miles and More (gold) card holders?

    IN addition, I can buy vouchers for Swiss lounges in CH (I can get access using my Swiss Silver FTL status but not get a guest in, hence the ability to buy up to 5 vouchers annually is worth having)

    Fast Track is rigidly enforced at Brussels with a requirement to scan the boarding pass at an electronic gate. No exceptions, no compromises. It’s a big deal as well because it can cut the wait for security screening from 25 minutes to 5 minutes.

    I can’t find anything now either SwissExPat. I deleted the email sometime ago but it could have been a Star benefit, not just for M&M.
