Just tried to book 36 hours parking at STN – since I last used it, the Mid Stay charges appear to have increased by 100% ! The lowest price option is Mid Stay at >£46. No option for long stay is available. The price includes ‘Fast Track; passes which are no good to me as I already have an EasyJet Plus card. Interesting to note that the daily parking rate equals the cost of my flight to Edinburgh!

Always find this airports that are for low cost airlines just make the money back with sky high extra charges. Ever been to LTN £9 for one hour in short stay. That makes it more expensive the any london car park.

Think are those cheap fares really that cheap.

Conc – if I was only after low fares I’d agree but I use STN, LTN and NOR for convenience not economy. Anything to avoid the M25 and the hell that is LHR. I can be at the mid stay car park at STN in less than 40 minutes.

Are there no of airport car parks? I use them most places i fly from and save a considerable sum over the airport car park charges.

Try http://www.purpleparking.com shows all onsite / offsite options at all UK airports.
